A fishing event to benefit Children’s Hope

“Hooks for Hope” is a fishing event to raise awareness and support for Children’s Hope’s life-changing ministry to vulnerable children, families, and communities in need in Haiti. The event will be held at Legacy Lakes - one of the premier private bass fishing properties in the United States.

Participants will be hosted by student anglers from the University of Alabama and Auburn Bass Fishing Teams, joining them as they host you in an exhibition tournament and enjoy an unforgettable day of fun, fellowship, and fishing!

About The Venue

Legacy Lakes has been named by Outdoor Life Magazine as “The Best Private Bass Lake in the U.S.” Originally built and operated by Ray Scott, founder of B.A.S.S., the property provides an elite fishing experience in a beautiful setting. The 55-acre Presidents Lake is so named as both Presidents George H.W. and George W. Bush spent time fishing there, as have a host of other celebrities and professional anglers.

Hooks for Hope 2025

Our last year’s Hooks for Hope event raised $80,000 for our ministry in Haiti! It was an exciting day with over 75 anglers participating, plus the Auburn and Alabama University Bass Fishing Teams and a host of volunteers.
